My New Home!!

My New Apartment!!
It's a small complex,about 30 units.
But a really nice large 1 bedroom.

It's got a beautiful little neighborhood.

Hopefully soon I can get out and enjoy it.

There's nothing like sleeping in your own bed!!

Well it's offical I am now in my apartment. I know I have no pics,
but when you leave at dark, and get home at dark, it kind of defeats
the purpose.

I loved sleeping in my own bed. I mean the things we take for
granted some times. The first night in my apartment, I had to go out
to Wal-Mart and buy a shower curtain, because I didn't have one.

I have purchased my first piece of furniture, a very comfy recliner.
It will be delivered next week. I will actually be able to sit
on something, not my bed, boxes, or the floor.

Once I get that in then I can see what other furniture I can fit in
there. I also bought a T.V. but it is still in the box, because I
just haven't had time to set it up yet.

Still traveling back and forth between the stores constatly, but I
will be able to come home and visit for a few days soon. I will be
home Nov 9 for the weekend. Hope to see all of you there!

Happy 3rd Birthday Bella!!

My miracle girl is three tomorrow. She is getting so
big and doing so good. She is pulling up things, and
talks all the time. She say's Praise the Lord and
it is so cute!

I miss her so much!! It has been a year since the kidney transplant,
and she is doing so well. If anyone ever doubts all they have to
do is look at her, and they will see miracles really happen!

A Place to call Home!!

Well it only took a month, but it's official. I have an address. I am so excited, because it means I can finally sleep in my own bed. I still have to move in, I pick up the keys tomorrow.

So I finally get out of a hotel, for a couple of nights at least.
Still doing lots of traveling and that is wearing me out.

I don't know if I will make it home or not. I am supposed to be home
towards the end of the month, the arrangements are made, but we are
without staff in one of our stores, and it is very possible that we
might not make it.

I took my 5 HOUR Management Assessment. Can you believe that?
It was really intense, and now I have to wait for over a week for results.
I have no idea how I did. But I will be sure to let everyone know when I do.

Living out of a hotel...

Hello everyone. I have been extremely busy since I got here to Kansas.
I haven't really had a chance to see anything. I have been working
non-stop, and I haven't even had a chance to get out and do apartment
hunting.

I am living out of a hotel. It's not bad, but it will be nice when I have
my own place. A lot of things have happened since we got here, and I
could be making some changes pretty quickly.

There may be a open position for a Sales Manager in one of other
stores very soon. So it looks like I may be taking my assessment pretty
soon. It's 5 hrs and all about having tasks to do in a timely matter,
and seeing your coaching ability when it comes to associates. It would
be a good pay increase, but a whole lot more responsibility.

But I am just praying that the Lord will open the doors if that is what
He wants to happen.

Kansas Here I Come!!

I know it has been forever since I have posted, but I have been
very busy with many different things.
The first of which, is I am moving to Emporia, Kansas this Friday.
I know everyone is thinking why Kansas? Well the truth is I am
transferring for work, with my supervisor Lyneatte. We bought
out another company there and have some really great opportunities.

Everything is still up in the air. I have to get a place when I get there,
we have about a 3 or 4 day road trip to get there. Pretty amazing huh!
For all of you who know me....you are probably thinking "this is not you,
who are you?" The truth is I have changed a lot and feel like I am in the
best place I have ever been in my life. I trust the Lord completely and
believe with all my heart that He opened the door for this and that
He is going to bless me.

I know I have been on the abandoned blog list for months, but I promise
that I will do my best to keep you as up to date as possible. I might be
without internet for awhile,but please e-mail me! I will need laughter,
and encouragement to get through these first few weeks especially. I am
leaving my home of all my life, my church family of 15 years, my work
family of 6 years, and my family and friends,who even know as I think
about it I start to cry. I know I can do it, but I will need some
extra strength. I love you all and will miss you greatly!

Here is Bill and Jennifer's new little bundle of joy Aarabella.

Both mom and baby are doing good after a long

gruling labor and a C-Section. Jenn will be recovering for

about 6 weeks.Blessings on your new family guys!

you will be taking. She is precious! We can't wait to see her.

Well this year has come and gone, but my favorite
time of the year is the Holiday's. I love spending time
with my family. As you can see from some of these
pictures, we had a great time. The kids were spoiled
as usual. Bella had a great time! John was very entertaining.

It certainly was not the same without my sister Laura.
We missed you girl, but I hope you had a good time,
and you enjoy these pictures.

Wishing you all a great New Year's. I can't believe we
are going into 2006, may it be a wonderful year for all
of you. I know I am looking forward to seeing where
the Lord takes me this year!

Praise Report!

Just wanted to thank you for your comments, thoughts,
and prayers. To no surprise, it does appear the
prayers worked. Our girl should be coming home tomorrow.

Her kidney seems to be doing great. It appears it
was just a viral infection, but she is doing much better.

The problem comes because her lungs didn't develop
all the way, she had RSV when she was younger, and
also has asthma. When anything respiratory happens
she has a hard time breathing.

Thank you Lord for having your hand on Isabella
and protecting her. Thank you for hearing our prayers.

Please pray for my girl!

My princess Bella is right now as a type on her way to Portland in a life flight. She was having a lot of problems breathing and her white count is up which means she is fighting some kind of infection.

Please pray for her and her parents.

Ok, is it just me or does it seem like this year has gone by
faster than previous ones. Maybe it was because I have
been on the go constantly this year. With the exception
of my recovery time.

I have been back at work for a month now. Still learning
my new position. I think it is going to be a great change
for me. One improvement is phones don't talk back.
Well not yet anyway! Hopefully they never do.
For those of you who work in customer service you know
what I am talking about. I still get out to the floor
to greet our customers but it is a big change.

I am so glad to be back working with Gen Church.
I didn't realize how much I missed it. We
have a great group of kids, and a wonderful staff
who isn't afraid of change.

One great thing about the Holiday's coming up is
I get to see friends and family who have moved
away. A shout out to my best friend Sheri, can't
wait to see you, and catch up. I miss you like crazy!
Also to my sister Laura who is up in Maple Valley
at GL. It just hasn't been the same without you.
Looking forward to seeing you!

Miracles Do Happen!!

It's hard to believe 2 years ago today, we were wondering
if our little girl was going to make it through the night.
I remember hearing the reports of the doctors saying there
was just no chance. We would be lucky if she survived
a few hours.

When they brought her out of the delivery room,
there were about 10 of us standing in the hall.
We asked if we could pray over her. We all gathered
in and asked the Lord to protect our girl and give
us a miracle.

That is what He did. She had so many problems that
they said she would never live a normal life.
Between under developed lungs,only one non functioning
kidney, a dislocated hip, hardly any bladder,and a few
other things this little girl is truly a miracle.

Now 13 surgeries later, including a kidney transplant,
she is a happy 2 year old. She loves her dolls,
reading books, watching Veggies and Cinderella "Rella"
is what she calls it. Although she is still not walking
or crawling because she was in a cast for 18 weeks after
her hip surgery, she loves to scoot on her bottom, and
turn herself around. It's a really cute thing to see.

My Russia Journey

Jim, Kyle and I went to Russia in January of 04.
It was an amazing three weeks. For those of you who know
Jim you know he has a heart for Russia. He has
been to Russia over 25 times.

We went to a place called Novoskibirsk, ministered
to the church, and their Bible College. We stayed
with host families, and got to witness some amazing things.

I couldn't believe how everything is so different. For instance..
they don't live in houses, they live in apartments. Most anything
you want to buy is behind glass. Including stuff like Advil.

It is winter there about 9 months out of the year, and as you
can see from the pictures, there winter is extremly COLD!

Later I will post more pictures of some of the things they have.
Transportation, Snow Sculptures, and some people we met.
Something to look forward to anyway. Jenni hope you enjoy.

Well for those of you who have been on me for months to set up a blog, here you go. I did it. I have had plenty of time on my hands since I have been recovering from surgery for the last 5 wks.

For those of you who don't know, I donated my kindney to my neice Isabella Grace who will be 2 next week. We are both doing well.

As I get the hang of this thing I will post more about it, and try to put some pictures on it.
